I live in northern new hampshire.

when insulating a new basement should i put a plastic vapor barrier between the foundation and the back side of the isulation? Foundation...plastic....fiberglass insulation...kraft faced...drywall

Foundation, black tar paper, insulation, vapour barrier, tape the barrier at all seams, top and bottom, and then drywall....check your local hardware store and ask about the black paper to put against exterior walls.....the wood framing should not touch cement of exterior walls.
