Is it a safe solution to allow my basement exterior (concreate) wall to have water come through and be redirected with Vapor Barriers and a Panel?

It is being redirected into a drainage system flowing into a sump pump. Over time, will it cause problems to my concreate exterior wall to continue to get wet?
