basement vapor barrier and insulation | |
Please e-mail with answer. Have conflicting answers to where a vapor barrier should go when studding out a basement block wall. The blocks are allready painted with something, don't know what was used. Am using 2x4 studs and r-13 insulation. Should it be faced insulation? Concrete breaths so should a vapor barrier be put against the block then insulated or insulated with the vapor barrier on the inside? Please Help
